On 19 September, 2022, the Day of Mourning in Canada, The Military Museums (TMM) hosted a Memorial Service for Queen Elizabeth II.
RAUSI Past President Maj Kent Griffiths, MMM, CD (Ret'd) of the Calgary Highlanders had several opportunities to meet The Queen during his service. Kent recounted special stories from various visits with Her Majesty and delivered a heartfelt eulogy. RAUSI's Honorary Piper Cpl Michael O'Sullivan played a lament as part of the service.
