Every 18 months or so, RAUSI has the opportunity to participate in an AGLC casino fundraiser. It’s one of the most important ways we fund our work for the next year and a half.
The funds raised through just two days of volunteering help us continue offering free public programming, including:
- RMCSD presentations
- Fireside Chats
- The Briefing Room
- And other educational initiatives that advance informed discussion on defence, security, and military affairs.
The best part? A relatively small commitment of your time has a significant impact on RAUSI.

We Need Your Help
We’re looking for volunteers to fill a variety of positions, including:
- Cash Cage
- Count Room
- Chip Runners
No previous casino experience is required for many positions, and experienced volunteers are always welcome. Training and guidance will be provided where needed.
Volunteers are welcome to work more than one shift, although they must remain in the same position for each shift they work.
Volunteer Eligibility
Under AGLC requirements, individuals are not eligible to volunteer if, within the past five years, they have been charged with or convicted of certain criminal offences, including offences involving dishonesty, narcotics, gaming, property crimes, firearms, or violence. Individuals who have received a pardon under the Criminal Records Act are not affected by this restriction.
AGLC may contact police to verify eligibility where required.
