Set NATO's Sights on the High North

Over the past year, RAUSI has noted with increasing concern the perceived lack of Canadian military preparedness to operate in the Arctic region. Many of our Arctic allies have realized the significant threat to the security of the Arctic and have responded with new capabilities, equipment purchases, training regimes and dedicated Arctic units or sub-units. The Atlantic Council article discusses a role for NATO in ensuring a stable and secure Arctic region. RAUSI encourages all members to remain informed on this topic and actively engage their elected officials to ensure Canada is able to respond to emerging threats. Your comments are always welcome.
