Modern Korea: No Way Back

Learn about the impressive history of this East Asian peninsula with the formation of its three kingdoms and the rise of a highly cultured state.  Follow the hermit kingdom under the Joseon rule until the advent of modernity and its brief Korean Empire at the end of the 19th Century.  Discover Russian and Japanese invasions in the first half of the 20th Century until the Korean War split this nation under two very different regimes, which are technically still at war today.  Can the two Koreas ever be reunited?  A fascinating presentation, not to be missed.
